What’s so great about Barack Obama?

At first, I thought there would be strong momentum from Ron Paul after his second place finish in Nevada and straw poll victory in Virginia.  I was wrong.  After the public caught wind of his policy proposals, they lost their fire for him.  Now, the media and voters are catching Barack Obama fever.   Obama fever is contributed to his charisma, and it is seemingly apparent that he will be the eventual Democratic nominee.

However, I feel like people are ignoring the question that should be asked:  What is so great about Barack Obama?   Is it because he is young and charismatic?  Is it because he can connect with voters?  Obama has only been serving as a first term U.S. Senator, and he has already accumulated a reputation:  The Most Liberal Senator, according to National Journal, a bipartisan political publication.  Even worse, Obama was considered one of the most liberal State Senators in Illinois.   Barack Obama will not be a viable President, because he can not compromise with the Republicans or conservatives.

There is a great need to educate voters about how to combat the liberal media and become informed of the legislative record compiled by those who are running for President.  Do we want a President who will ignore the Constitution and ignore the current war against terrorism?  No, we want someone who will be a strong leader and will not compromise in his beliefs.

I’ve also been wondering the exact same thing.

Sure he is popular, charismatic, a great speaker, but realistically WHAT’s SO GREAT about Barack Obama? Is he even qualified to be president?

Here is a perfect example why we need Barack. It’s found in your blog. You said Obama fever is “contributed to his charisma”. Dude, the word is “attributed”. That sounds like something our President would say. Like “nucular” and many other Dubya-isms. It is time for the nit-wit mindless puppets of men like Dick Cheney to be swept out. We need real people with functioning brains who actually know real people and understand what our country’s citizens need, not what would best benefit Halliburton.

Mr. Richardson,

With all due respect, I often go through previous posts and correct errors. My post about Barack Obama was going to be met with some disdain, but your attacks are juvenile. I have my own views infused with my personality. By the way, I graduated college with high honors, along with being the first female and first person on both sides of my family to receive a degree. I ask you respectfully to consider this when making the attack of not having a functioning brain.

Did you know that George W. Bush graduated from one of the top business schools in the nation? He graduated from Harvard Business School and no doubt, it takes someone with brains and determination to graduate from that program. Dick Cheney was only a dissertation shy of receiving a Doctorate in Political Science. I guess that is an easy degree, yeah right! It is quite demanding.

It takes juvenile attacks from the liberal leftists to demonstrate how desperate they are to prove a point. After all, these attacks are hot air with no substantial proof behind his points.

If you do not agree with me, please say it respectfully. Meanwhile, my blog will continue a strong tradition of voicing my views.

Think about America and what we really need, you fool! I dont watch fox because you are such a disappointment as a medium. Take a lesson from Larry, O’reilly or something, you’re very bias. Thanks America, for the right to speech! Fox will always be the underdog because of your workers like Hannity or Cannibal or the racist!

i really think that we don’t have good canidates for the presidency and thats why we are having trouble figuring this out. my opinion is that obama is not eduated enough for this position and mccann is almost like voting for another bush, so where do we stand….
